Over 200 jobseekers received a job offer at the Naukri.com Job Fair held at Diamond Hall, Rajpath Club, Ahmedabad. Over 1500 candidates were shortlisted for further interviews. Besides hiring for current openings, it also helped recruiters build their candidates database for future requirements.
Recruiters were enthused by the response to the fair. “It was an amazing experience. We have been able to identify a huge talent to a great extent through Naukri.com job fair,” said Shailesh Bhrambhatt, Vice President – HR, Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited.
On the occasion, V Suresh, National Head - Sales, Naukri.com said, “Ahmedabad, one of the hottest job markets in India, responded very well to the job fair. It was interesting to see talent walk-in from various industries with over 40% experienced professionals, ranging from 2-12 years. The Ahmedabad Job fair was a multi industry job fair, with more than 32 companies participating from diverse sectors including IT, ITeS, Engineering, Media, Banking and Insurance, Biotech, Gaming and many more. Companies hired for freshers, middle and senior positions like Business Development Executives, Research Analysts, Business Advisors, SAP Consultants, Quality Analysts, Java Engineers, Graphic Engineers, Game Programmers, and Sales Managers.
